Skulls were created as part of a Foundation Course for Art and Design. The Theme was systems, the skulls show the fact that some systems of life are impacted in our very bones. In this case nostalgia of childhood sweets with love hearts and gobstoppers. The watch part and sequin skull represents time and life span.
The Cog Skull eventually was entered into the Ripley’s Believe it or Not RipCycle competition which came 4th and now lives in one of their museums.

Cross stitching goes through the disc and cymbal. The Cymbal was entered in to the Ripley’s Believe it or Not Unconventional Art Contest, which placed in the top 25.
